STRAVINSKY ARR. MOORE 3 Movements
As composers of four-hands piano music, Mozart and Schubert stand supreme. Mozart’s F major Sonata is an undiscovered masterpiece – a work of truly symphonic proportions; while the Schubert pieces here, both composed in the last year of his short life, could well stand as a two-movement sonata. Schumann’s Canonic Studies are much more lyrical and poetic than their title would suggest.
