Norwich Chamber Music concerts feature world-class professional musicians, including both famous names and emerging talent. The modern auditorium at the JIC Conference Centre is light and airy, with good acoustics and excellent sight lines from all seats.

Norwich Chamber Music concerts take place at the John Innes Centre (JIC) Conference Centre, a modern, 320-seat auditorium ideally suited to chamber music acoustics, with comfortable seats and excellent sight lines.

There is ample free parking during the evenings and at weekends, when almost all Norwich Chamber Music concerts take place. The route from the car park through to the auditorium is wheelchair accessible.

The climate-controlled auditorium has 320 seats in tiered rows offering an uninterrupted view of the stage from all areas. The front row of chairs is freely removable to allow for wheelchairs.

The bright, airy foyer provides level access to the auditorium, cloakroom and toilets and offers a sociable space for chatting to other concertgoers before the event and during the interval.

Light refreshments are normally available from the bar area in the foyer.

Yes, we introduced numbered seating at the John Innes Centre auditorium in January 2022.

We have two seating sections – General seating (marked blue on the seating plan) and Limited mobility seating (marked yellow).

Row A (at floor level, in front of the raked seating) is reserved for wheelchair users and others who use a mobility aid such as a walker, and their carer or companion. There are also two seats at each end of row B for those with limited mobility but who do not need a seat at floor level.

When you book, you will be asked to click on the section and number of seats you want in each price category (NCM Season ticket holder, NCM Member, standard ticket, etc.). You will then be able to select the seats you would like from the plan.

Once you are in the auditorium, you will find the seat numbers on the back right-hand arm of each seat. Our volunteer door stewards will be on hand to assist if needed.

Please email the Membership Secretary at membership@norwichchambermusic.org.uk to request a copy of your tickets.

Creating or updating your customer account on our TicketSource page is currently a manual process. We aim to update TicketSource as soon as possible after you purchase your Season Ticket or Membership but it may take a little longer during the evening or at weekends. If you are unable to book tickets after 24 hours, please email the Membership Secretary at membership@norwichchambermusic.org.uk.
